Terms of use
These terms govern the Kin service: how creator fees are allocated, how activity is recorded, and what is expected of anyone who launches a token through it.
- Effective
- 22 September 2026
- Version
- 1.1
- Applies to
- The Kin site, ledger, and new launch fee policy
The service
New launches through Kin allocate 100% of available creator fees to Kin’s fixed wallet on the selected chain. Collection follows the launchpad’s claim or dispatch rules. An X handle is metadata only and has no fee allocation under this policy. Kin does not issue tokens, operate a launchpad, run a market, or give financial advice. It does not custody your wallet and never asks for a seed phrase.
If a token names you
You are not a party to these terms. A token can name any X account without that account's knowledge. Being named does not give you a fee share, promise a payment, or establish your endorsement.
If you launch a token
You are responsible for the token you deploy, including its name, ticker, artwork, and lawfulness. Directing creator fees to Kin does not make Kin the issuer. Do not name an account to imply an endorsement that does not exist.
Creator fee allocation
Kin receives 100% of the available creator allocation for new launches. Launchpad protocol fees and network gas are excluded. Availability, payout assets, and timing depend on the launchpad and token configuration. Accrued fees may require a claim or dispatch before receipt.
Existing tokens and records
This new launch policy does not change existing token recipients or rewrite prior payment records. Existing and imported tokens retain their on-chain fee settings unless an authorized change is made on-chain. Ledger entries alone do not prove receipt or completed payment.
